Ellen Effron, COO

For 37 years Ellen Effron practiced custody and divorce litigation as a partner in matrimonial boutiques. In addition to co-authoring several books, appearing on national television and radio as an expert on topics related to children and the law, and serving in leadership positions in the field, in 1985 she founded the Mediation Institute at Harvard Law School.

As Amber’s private client for ten years, Ellen had such faith in her creative ability, choreography, and knowledge of the body in movement that she eventually encouraged her to open her own studio. Never imagining she would be at the helm of another business, Ellen now proudly serves as Amber’s business partner and sounding board.
